Jan Taal

Jan Taal (1949) has been active in the development of imagery since 1978. He has a practice for psychological treatment and coaching since 1980 until now in Amsterdam. He is in charge of the Amsterdam School for Imagery since its founding in 1985.

Jan studied cultural antropology and clinical psychology in Amsterdam and Leiden and psychosynthesis in The Netherlands and Italy. In addition to being a trainer, he is a licensed healthcare psychologist and expert for the Dutch Psycho-Oncology Association (NVPO).

Patricia Deiters-Rahusen

Patricia Deiters-Rahusen

Patricia has been affiliated with the School for Imagery since 2000. She has supervised many training courses and modules. From the very beginning of the Imagery Toolbox, she has been involved in the development, training and supervision of module participants, professionals who want to work with the Imagery Toolbox.

As an Imago relationship therapist, she provides training, coaching and relationship therapy to groups, individual clients and couples from her practice for Imagery in Breukelen, www.parabel.nl. Guiding clients and couples based on their own unique inner images has become an indispensable part of her life.

As chairman of the Cancer in Image foundation, Patricia has volunteered for this organization for many years and has provided strong input in spreading the Singing/Images/Dancing/Writing and Playing for your Life projects nationally. She was also a director of the Huis aan het Water Foundation in Katwoude. Nowadays she works as secretary of the Association for Imago Relations in the Netherlands.

Machteld Meijer

Machteld Meijer

Machteld works as a PR employee and content creator for the School. She develops digital content to increase the visibility of the School and to achieve interaction with online visitors, such as making online videos and exercises available.

In addition to her work at the School, Machteld guides individuals to a healthier life, inner happiness, self-knowledge and connection. Her approach includes 1-on-1 coaching counseling aimed at promoting awareness, stress management, personal growth and a healthy lifestyle. And group sessions for consciousness and inner development with imagery, meditation and storytelling.
